Possible Thanksgiving Storm
My confidence has risen and some of the models are starting to pick up on the storm. 240 hours out or the day after Thanksgiving the average temp. about 9ft above the ground is going to be 23 F in NYC...There will be a area of disturbed weather following a trof that that is very board. I think right now the model is having trouble phasing it because it doesn't know how to phase a winter storm, because it's used to the run of the mill rain storms. With the frigid air in Southern Canada (850 mb) we might get a tap and then this flurry storm might become a major winter storm, the first one. It's too early to say where, and how much but I can tell you that something will be lurking nearby. If you look at the thread "Weird Pattern" you can see that I think the first sign is to flattten the flow and then get a very board trof in the east, this one if the models are grasping it right will be very hard to buge. Keep you updated...
