basic VHS? No one has those anymore. Does it say Handycam, VHS C, mini DVD, or MiniDV (probably MiniDV) ?

How long have you had this thing? Show me a picture of it. If it's not a minidv camera, you need to buy one. You can get them for like 100 bucks now. Remind me later and I will explain to you why miniDV is actualy better than the more expensive miniDVD.

Ok... you, uh, get like 20 lines of resolution from that. Good for its time, but that is like 1980's technology. Go DV. Anything else is too costly to edit. DV goes straight to the computer via firewire, so an hour after shooting an hour tape, you are ready to edit. Beauty in motion.

I was doing some research, and actually, today, more people die in the us with major Nor’easters, than in hurricanes. Of course... this is highly relative.
