Locally, it's 114 degrees at eye level in our parking lot at work. I think that's enough on weather. It's too hot to write anything else.

I'm in Orange at the moment. There's a strong thunderstorm to the north. I can even hear some occasional thunder. If it moves over the area, I can already tell it's going to spit a lot of lightning.

Yep, I see it on the radar. There's a big blob of red and orange headed straight for me ... but it usually gets to Loop 610 and sputters out! Hopefully this one will make it. Hope ya'll get some too!

At 4:15 this afternoon, Orange, and Bridge City had marble sized hail, intense cloud to ground lightning and about 1.25 inches of rain in about an hour. The haze prevented much of a warning, but the thunderstorm didn't show any signs of rotation, or funnel development.

Judging by the lack of rain, I won't be surprised to kick dust in the morning.

Water vapor loops are showing more moisture to work with in Southeast, Texas. I'm thinking today will be a repeat of yesterday, with heavy to severe storms in the afternoon and evening. Hopefully, they want crack my windshield more than the storm yesterday.
