Cincinnati is a mess right now...thousands with no power...city is in serious trouble tonight and will be on Wednesday morning...Florence not much better. Level two and three snow emergencies limiting travel in 10 area counties. 0.25 to .50" ice covers everything near and south of the river presently. One little girl was killed by a falling tree. North of the river, snow dominates with several inches on the ground.

Widespread Freezing Rain Will Continue. Temperatures Will Be At
Or Below Freezing Through Most Of The Night...supporting The
Formation Of Heavy Ice Accumulations...especially In The Higher
Elevations.

Total Ice Accumulations Of One Quarter To One Half Inch Are
Likely By Wednesday Morning...with The Heaviest Icing Right Along
And Either Side Of The Blue Ridge Parkway.

An Ice Storm Warning Means Significant Amounts Of Ice
Accumulations Will Make Travel Dangerous Or Impossible. Travel
Tonight Is Strongly Discouraged. Ice Accumulations Of These
Amounts Can Lead To Snapped Power Lines And Falling Tree
Branches.

Well we had about a 1/2 inch of ice on everything this morning then the temps rose to 34 for a couple of hours, now the temps are back down to 30 and the winds are at 20 with higher gust and slight snow!!!

Looks to be a fun drive home from work tonight.
