God's will is against advancement? That may explain a lot.

Explain to me where I'm wrong in drawing that conclusion from what I quoted.

You can be religious and still believe in a 4 billion year old earth and one that will end when the sun explodes, like myself.

However, I'm leaving and only read the first page of this thread. Maybe that topic has already been adressed.

" There is only one duty, only one safe course, and that is to try to be right and not fear to do or say what you believe." - Winston Churchill

"In the history of the world, the true test of a civilization is how well people treat the most vulnerable and most helpless in their society. The sponsors and supporters of this bill believe that abortion is wrong because unborn children are the most vulnerable and most helpless persons in our society. I agree with them." - Mike Rounds, Governor of South Dakota

God isn't against advancement. You don't know the difference between earthly things and spiritual things.

There is nothing wrong with learning and discovering. There is something wrong with perverting the word of God.

You just want to fight. I'm done fighting.

Religious, yes. On track with what the Bible teaches? No.

It doesn't teach that at all.

Ah, so using science to prove something that wasn't proving something before is "perverting his word?"

Reminds me of Galileo.

I don't want to fight. I want to understand your viewpoint, and so far, I don't.

One needs to remember this thread was really about a legitimate news/intelligence story Smile

While Biblical prophetic references were used by the author; and he instructed how one could accept Christ into their life at the end; the main message was about an alliance between Russia, Iran, and Syria.

Anyway, you all posted some interesting thoughts regarding certain matters. I'll refrain from getting into the discussion, however Smile
