Or the media is trying to continue to stigmatize the relations between Duke and NCCU. Frankly, I am tired about hearing about that the woman is a student at NCCU. It does not matter. Not to me anyway.

You're right...but is isn't just the media making this a black vs. white issue...it's Jesse Jackson and the like...I hear that a bunch of them are going to have a protest for her...facts be damned.

Well, bottom line Storm...I have a very hard time thinking this DA did all this for the purpose of gaining popularity and/or winning an upcoming elections. I mean, lets look at the entire picture here. How the heck by him supporting a stripper/druggie's claims while prosecuting 3 young, well off, college men (who I believe have families very well tied to the communtity) would "help" him.?. If anything, I'd think this would hurt him and he'd wanta push this under the rug before publically pursuing it. Follow? I just don't buy it. Juz sayin'.
However, with that said...I'm not fully buying her story either.

Those families aren't from his district...however many black voters are. They were the ones raising hell and protesting this thing to get him to get an indictment.

I have heard soooooo many conflicting things about this that I don't even know what to think of it all. I getting a headache just from reading this thread. I don't normally like to say too much about this subject, so all I will say is this.....If they are innocent, I feel very sorry for them....If they did it, they deserve far worse than what they'll get.

This echoes what I said previously about this DA...he appears biased and, one sided in what "facts" he wanted to find, instead of seeing the whole truth.

Here's what I just read in People Mag....

"Prosecutors say a rape kit later revealed the woman had been raped and sodomized".

So, if this is true the DA has an obligation to move forward with this. As I said before, he can't just throw up his hands and say, "ahhhh, I don't believe her". There's evidence there.

Theres plenty of exculpatory evidence also which he conveniently ignored.
