I went to the software forums and discovered I needed to update my DirectX to 9.0. For those of you having problems getting this software going, go to http://www.microsoft.com and download the update for your DirectX. It fixed my problem and this is going to be very cool. Visit the Gibson Ridge software forums for more info: http://www.gibsonridgesoftware.com/forums/index.php?c=2

Yes, DirectX 9.0 is the fix, but now where do you get the shape and/or GIS files to add in? Hardcore has to have that answer to that one.

Don't give up on it, Brett. It's got great street level mapping, IMHO.

Big Bird: That language you speak, you speak it quite well, sir.

Raymond Burr: Why thank you, that would be English.

Yes, the street level is awesome IMHO as well. The thing is, if I am looking in other states I would like to see cities in paths of cells. Know what I mean? I don't know every city or every county in every state. LOL. I use this for nowcasting purposes mainly since I have to do it nationwide. (Kinda like the SPC)

You need to DL the big file first.

Then install it . Then copy the new small file on top of the old file Smile
