Annual War of the Weeds
The yard is growing like weeds and the weeds are growing like salmonella in potato salad placed in the sun.

I'm already mowing once a week and into the second quart of herbicide.

Blah!

RE: Annual War of the Weeds
This year has been hell since we had such a long and hard winter. Everything decided to blossom at once. The usual weed-n-feed barely put a dent. Plus all the ligustrum is killing me. My back yard is an invisible wall of pollen. Plus we are starting to get into a little drought. I really don't want to have to start watering the lawn. Especially since the city fixed my water meter (for the last five years it has been broken and I was only paying $10/month, no matter how much water we used).

Pollen is a bear this season. I'll have a sneezing spell out of the blue, and never know what caused the sneeze.
