Looks like a potential for a "significant event" according to the PWO issued today, text for 1/30 suggests a possible upgrade to Moderate presumably for much of Alabama and some of Georgia.

Well we had some pretty good winds associated with the leading edge of the front. I had 45+mph winds and lost electricity. Nothing like getting ready for work by candle light.
