How much should I spend on a new video camera?
I hate to post so much in this forum drop me a PM if you'd like me to stop. I'm kinda a noob to really hardcore weather stuff.
I'm a local chaser who really does not travel to far for a good storm. I want a video camera w/ high video quality but not one that will cost an arm and a leg. What cheap options do you know of? |

How much should I spend on a new video camera?
I use a FLIP digital video camera (non HD model). I know they make a HD 2hr of video for under $200 dollars.
PLUS: very good in low light, easy to transport, runs on 2AA, has video processing software built in, easily uploads to YouTube. Fits in you pocket like a cell phone. MINUS: Really bad zoom. No special features. Can not expand the memory. I use is it for all my video chasing. Just check out my post in the Pic/Vid section. But I have been wanting to spend some money on a good HD Sony or Panasonic, I just have to win the lottery...
