When starting a new thread I wanted to upload an image,but didn't find the option for this.Where do I look for this option?

The answer is the yellow 'envelope looking icon' in the edit panel lets you insert the URL of the image you want to use. Unstated is that you need something like a flickr account to upload JPG's from your own harddrive for example.
