Snow on or near Christmas in the South
Next. GFS showing snow for here right before New Years, and big one right after New Years. I'll post some info on those in a couple of days if they still show it.

Snow on or near Christmas in the South
Big Easy snow ?

Quote:AFTER REVIEWING MODEL SOUNDINGS...IT APPEARS
THAT THE PRECIP SHOULD REMAIN LIQUID. HOWEVER...IF THE AIRMASS IS
A BIT DRIER OR COLDER THAN EXPECTED...SOME WINTRY PRECIP COULD MIX
IN OVER SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE FLORIDA
PARISHES. THIS SITUATION WILL HAVE TO BE MONITORED OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS.

Snow on or near Christmas in the South
The Christmas or near it thread should be dead now, but several chance should still come up over the next few weeks. At least the pattern says so, but one model run has us getting hammered with a huge snow here and the next one is all rain.
