I did the same thing, Munkie. And when they called asking for support, I told them to tell the Republicans they should have listened when I called them and told them to vote NO on the stimulus.

I have decided that the goal of this administration is to create chaos. Chaos will panic the population.

I don't know, I really think I'm changing my position on the swine flu after learning more about it (as encouraged to by my man, Proger).

It's scary stuff, and I say it IS an emergency. Do I think it should have been declared a national emergency just now? Nah, probably not. However, it's probably best to take care of the situation BEFORE it becomes an emergency.

Swine flu is serious, no doubt. Not making light of it.
It is all the other "crisis" that we've had in the past 10 months, added together.

Its scary stuff indeed. Our ICU is full of 30-40 year old people with no past medical problems on the highest possible ventilator settings possible and they still are not doing well. I have never seen anything like this before. The seasonal flu never does this, it usually gets old people.

Could this stuff attack your heart? I'm gun shy after a virus attacked mine last year. I'm trying to stay calm but careful. Will anything other than alcohol kill it? Alcohol makes my skin blister and peel.

Any virus can cause myocarditis, some more common than others, influenza isn't known to do this like others. It is preferentially a pulmonary illness.
