That is so wrong. This is like something from the 1960's.

Justice Department will probably be all over that guy. Since when did they get to decide if the marriage was a good idea or not? Heck, they'd DQ about half of the applicants.

That's definately messed up. If two people love each other, let them get married... race shouldn't be an issue. I would understand if this was an interracial gay couple (which I could care less if gays/lesbians want to get married, but don't jump me over that, this isn't the topic of the thread), but a male/female interracial couple has just as much merrit (sp) as any other couple!

Just my opinion

JP's in Louisiana are required to have less than a third grade education. Kinda like the requirements for being a Gump fan.

What's really scary is that these tards can legally charge anyone with ANY crime. I have yet to meet one that can actually read the criminal code much less determine prob cause to create a permamnent FBI file on someone. These idiots have the power to ruin your life.

I am wondering what constitutes "interracial" with this guy--is it just black people? Or is it also Asian, Indian, Hispanic?--Good grief.
Now THIS is racist. (Alot of the cries these days of "racist" are not.)
This guy is history.

Maybe he was legitimately concerned about the children.

The thoughts and motives (and color) of the JP don't interest me at all since the couple can get a license and marriage anyplace in the USA in this the twenty-first century.

The couple would be wise to get the backing and acceptance of both their families.

If anything I wonder if the JP was himself Black or "mixed" but it's not material to the success of the lives of the couple or their family.

What are your thoughts on the couple not on the JP?
