Historic snow event in South America
Historic snow event in South America

A major and historic winter storm is underway at this Wednesday morning in Argentina. Snow is falling in many parts of the country and in many areas not used to winter precipitation. Local news reports indicate snow already have been observed in the provinces of Mendoza, San Luis, San Juan, Cordoba, La Pampa and Buenos Aires.

In Bahia Blanca, a coastal city in the Southern part of the Buenos Aires, the snow storm is heavy and local authorities describe it as the worst snow event in 50 years. Roads are already blocked by snow and ice in the regional. TN news channel reports some areas of the Sierra de La Ventana could pick up even 3 feet of snow, unimaginable to the region.

Only people with oversized egos believe that mankind has caused global warming.

Scientific Consensus is an Oxymoron

So very cool. Snow does suck, though. But you get used to it.

I would give my left leg for snow right now...lucky bastards!

But yeah...we have all been focused on the "global Warming" but as I've been saying for YEARS...

Earth has a pattern...hot years and cold years...we are due for the cold years...he needs to do his research.

Meh, I think everybody is on the right track, it's somewhere in the middle. There's something funny going on. I think that we'll see it become clearer and clearer in the next few years. And if it is something natural, I bet we're doing our share to accelerate it. Weather on steroids?

I do think we aren't helping the situation...perhaps steroids...or just heightened from our distruction on Earth....Maybe we are just causing the warming and cooling patterns to be extra warm or extra cold?
