Since I am idiot and have the KATC 8-day forcast as a live link, you can see that it is supposed to get to 66 here tonight.

We had the windows open and widow units off until late this afternoon. Man it felt good outside today.

so weird...I actually had a dream this afternoon (my nap) that it was in teh 50's here...and I remember calling my friends to see if they felt the difference too...when I woke, I went outside to get the paper and realized...it was still in the 90s...bummer...but I must be really looking forward to winter! Smile

I am always looking forward to winter! Even when I am sitting in the duck blind w/ my feet frozen and frost hanging from my beard. It is what I love...winter.

65 at 5am. Of coarse the record is 60 set in 1897.

Not even close...

Beautiful Weather here in North, MS. Highs in the low 80's with a bit of wind. Got down to 59 at the house last night. Seems like October weather to me. Storm seasons coming.

It was 49 here in Northern Indiana 2 nights ago. I think winter will be early this year.
Our lows in August should be in the 60's or low 70's.

Maybe not an early winter, per se, but strong possibility of early fall. I'm already seeing some trees up in the mountains beginning to turn. Not the great majority, mind you,but one here and there. This has been a relatively cool summer, with highs mostly in the mid 80's,and lows predominately in the low 60's. The first year we moved here, eight years ago,we got to learn all about ice storms....not since! This year???

warwoman
We were just talking in our office this morning about seeing a few trees with leaves changing already. As this will only be my second year out of the State of Florida, Changing colors is still new to me, but the locals are saying it is way to early to be seeing this especially in SC maybe further up north it is not as far fetched
