Same here and we don't shovel sunshine in the winter.

Only people with oversized egos believe that mankind has caused global warming.

Scientific Consensus is an Oxymoron

Wow, what a difference. At 1:00pm it is just 84F w/ 46% humidity and a NE wind at 5mph. Been outside all morning working and enjoying it for a change. Now if it can only stay this way till fall.

It's been 58 degrees on the porch the last couple of mornings, and in the mid 70's during the days. Absolutely beautiful. The 'old timers' say this is the way it used to be. We could use a little rain, though.

All the talk the last year or so about the low levels of the lakes up here(Lake Lanier,Lake Hartwell in Ga./SC),but folks don't remember that we haven't had a tropical system go thru here in about three years, from either coast. Up till then it seemd we had one or two every year. The last we had to my recollection, was the group of storms that came thru seemingly one after another,of which Ivan was a prominent member. Lots and lots of damage and rain from those. It's funny, but my wife remarked when we moved from the Houston area to up here, that we wouldn't have to worry about hurricanes as much.I told her, yeah, just think....we are now eligible for storms from both the gulf and the Atlantic.

Wow! Feels like an early fall morning today. Had to put on a sweater to go outside and sit and drink coffee! Love it!
