National Weather Service Radar Continued To Detect A Large Area Of
Light To Moderate Rain Continuing Over All Of Interior Southeast
Mississippi...all Of Southwest Alabama And All Of The Western Florida
Panhandle. In Addition...areas Of Intermittent Light Sleet Have Been
Reported In The Crestview Florida Area. Rainfall Amounts Have Been
Generally Around A Quarter Of An Inch Per Hour In Several
Locations...and Up To A Half Inch Per Hour Over Portions Of Southeast
Mississippi. This Area Of Rain Will Continue To Move Toward The
Northeast At 20 To 25 Mph Through The Afternoon Hours. East Winds
Will Become Northeast And Increase Especially Near The Coast.
Sustained Winds Along The Coast Up To Around 20 Mph Will Be
Likely...with Some Gusts Up To Around 30 Mph.

This has been a warm, dry winter here in central Texas, its has only snowed once and it was in Thanksgiving day!
