Winter 2008-2009 Report for Spring Hill:
Average Daytime High was 71.5° F (1° below Normal)
Average Overnight Low was 48.5° F (2.1° above normal)
Average Mean was 60° (0.5° above normal)

Highest Daytime Temperature was 87° on March 15th
Coldest Overnight Low Temperature was 26° on January 22nd and February 5th

Coolest Maximum High was 44° on January 21st
Warmest Minimum Low was 65° on February 12th/March 17th

Total Rainfall = 2.41" (8.04" below normal)

Most Rainfall on One day was only 0.60” on February 2nd

A dry, very dry, and chilly winter. The stats say near normal, but that is mainly due to a warm March. Relatively speaking it was a chilly winter by Florida standards. Many mornings were frosty, even if we didn’t drop below 32°.

The main story is the lack of rainfall again. We are in severe drought conditions around here, some counties to the south are in extreme conditions.

We went below freezing a total of 5 times:
31° on January 21
26° on January 22
31° on January 23
26° on February 5
28° on February 6
