Daytime High was 95° F Overnight Low was 77° F Mean Temperature was 86° F Average Daytime High is 91° F Average Overnight Low is 70° F Average Mean for date 80.5° F Record High is 105° in 1971 Record Low is 66° in 1974 Pt. Sunny Dewpoints in the low 70's Winds northeast at 5-15 mph Tropical Storm Bret forms from TD #2 which formed off the east coast of Florida in the Bahama region. This pulled down the frontal trough sitting to our north and brought drier air and thus warmed us up. There were some storms around, but none affected us. Forecast for Sunday the 18th: Monday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 99. Northeast wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Monday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. East northeast wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. |
