April 14, 2009 Observations:
Daytime High was 72° F Overnight Low was 62° F Mean Temperature was 67° F Average Daytime High is 82° F Average Overnight Low is 55° F Average Mean for date 68.5° F Record High is 92° in 1991 Record Low is 43° in 1988 Some clouds overnight, but definitely Cloudy during day Thunderstorm at 3:50 a.m. Thunderstorm at 8:35 a.m. with gusty winds to 36 mph with heavy rain. Showers thereafter till around 1 p.m. Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued at 8:15 a.m. till 9:15 a.m. Dewpoints in the low 60's Winds southwest at 5-10 mph but higher during storms, then west at 10-20 mph Rain Amount = 1.20" (Much needed rain, but more is needed) A strong cold front with an upper level low along it is approaching Florida and expected to pass. A Tornado Watch was Issued till 2 p.m. Forecast for Wednesday the 15th: Today: Sunny, with a high near 76. Northwest wind between 5 and 8 mph. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Northwest wind between 3 and 8 mph. |
