Daytime High was 79° F Overnight Low was 53° F Mean Temperature was 66° F Average Daytime High is 70° F Average Overnight Low is 44° F Average Mean for date 57° F Record High is 82° in 1992/2006 Record Low is 18° in 1985 Pt. Sunny with a lot of high clouds, but increasing clouds late in the day Dewpoints in the upper 50's Winds east at 5-15 mph Heavy shower with lightning at 7:55 p.m. Shower with lightning/thunder at 10:15 p.m. This line moved in from the Gulf of Mexico and weakened near shore. Thundershower at 10:50 p.m. with heavy rain Rain Amount = 1.38" (Total for month = 4.44") All of this activity is due to the sea-breeze intersecting with the heating over land to touch off numerous showers and thunderstorms, this is rare activity for January. Forecast for Wednesday the 23rd: Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m. Areas of dense fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph. Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm. |
