Midwest/East Coast Snow Next Week

Looks like Old Man Winter will be making a "for real" appearance in the eastern half of the nation next week. Measurable snow for the midwest all the way up the eastern seaboard...probably a Wednesday-Friday event. Some of the models are hinting at a monster low parking off the Coast of New Jersey and bombing out...depending on how cold it gets, it could spell MAJOR snow...I'm not buying into it just yet...but the potential is there. Regardless, precipitable amounts will be quite high...the lakes are also at the right temp for some serious lake effect snows...Give it another 72 hours to start verifying and before I'll make any calls, but this will be one to watch.
