The Communist Manifesto, as written by Marx and Engels, is radically different than the Communism that was practiced by Lenin and Stalin, and is still being practiced by Cuba and China.

The 10 Planks were written in 1848, and even Marx and Engels knew that it had to be updated: read about it here
