Hazy Sun with high thin cirrus clouds at times and hot.

Humidity is up. Dewpoints in the upper 60's rising to the low 70's

Winds were east at 5-10 mph and sea-breeze was late getting here today

Thunderstorm with strong gusty winds, perhaps small hail and rain around 5 p.m.

Showers and storms formed near the coast and created cloudy conditions till after 3 p.m. Then Pt. Sunny. More storms went by after 9 p.m.

At 702 PM EDT...National Weather Service meteorologists detected a line of strong thunderstorms located along a line extending from Rutland to westchase...or along a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Inverness to 7 miles northwest of Tampa International Airport...moving northwest at 5 mph...will affect Rutland...Lake panasoffkee...Spring Hill...Brooksville...Beverly Hills...Wahoo... Istachatta...Lutz...Palm Harbor...and Dade City...until 745 PM EDT.
This includes Interstate 75 between exits 260 and 329.
This includes Interstate 4 between exits 1 and 10.
Gusty winds 35 to 45 mph will occur. Frequent lightning is expected. To be safe go indoors immediately. If caught outside...find a low spot...and stay away from tall objects. These storms may produce pea size hail. When driving through heavy rain...slow down. Always leave a safe distance between you and other vehicles.
