Smile Anyone else not watching the Superbowl ?

I don't ever watch the Super Bowl. Even in the unlikely event that the Bears were one of the teams ,I wouldn't watch.

Because of the extreme weather forcast as well as the game Store Munchies shelves have been heavily stripped.

    Not watching it either.

Audrey - 1957 - I was almost three and slept through it.
    Cindy - 1963 - First hurricane that I remember
Bonnie - 1986 - Watching all the transformers explode
Rita - 2005 - The sounds that I did not know my house could make & the roar
    Humberto - 2007 - Got 2" of rain
    Ike - 2008 - A long blow

I'll watch, because not to would be a sin in these parts! Also want to see the New Orleans fans cuttin' up in the stands. Always entertaining!

    Thumbs up

Back to the truly critical things in life...

We had the whole game on

Wife was in stitches with some of the comercials which is why we record superboowls every year

Unfortunately she decided without reference that she was for ....the "^_^%$_%_% Colts' so was disappointed in that respect

We have both seen the Bud Clydsdales in real life so of course.........

Those of you who missed the game missed an excellent football game. Very few penalties. Excellent control by both quarterbacks. Some funny commercials. The Who playing at halftime. And the game wasn't decided until the last few minutes of the fourth quarter.

Sorry you missed an outstanding, and exciting game.

    And besides WHO DAT!!!

I watched the military channel, when I wasn't watching "How It's Made" and the Action Channel. Did you know the newest AC-130 gun ship has a 105mm howitzer?

LOL "Puff The Magic Dragon" came to mind. I seem to remember the A-10 cannon had some interesting characteristics.

    I need to mention

    "What was your favorite Commercial?"

since that's one of the reasons we watch

After the fact you may find some fun and humor in these two links

    and

Needless to say I sorta thought of Wind and Bamamama when I saw the "Betty White" comercial but

....The "Budweiser Clydsdales" were from a farmer 2 towns over from where my wife and I went to school

I've gotta go with the Clydsdales and the little calf

    "The Calf Grows Up"

    ..................................Longhorn!

That one offended me. I don't like to see kids disrespect adults. I quit buying their products over it. I told them so and they appologized in a really nice E mail. I still won't go back to them though. I saw about 2 minutes of the game at my Father-in -laws. Just enough to see that awful commercial. Sorry Bamamama no dis of you meant.
