Yeah I saw that.
Looked like Spring Hill got a bit too.
Air is just to dry up this here for the rain to make it this far north.
Looks like this weekend is going to be hot again with heat index of 110 and above.

Hey, I got my front lawn cut before the next round of showers moves in. /laugh4

Actually it's been dry here for most of the day but there's a small blob of showers heading our way that should be here momentarily.

Actually we didn't get much. Only .88" Wednesday and Thursday. We had showers around us those two days, but nothing that directly poured on us like they got down south of me.

We're supposed to dry out this weekend (chance of isolated showers/storms), but with that the temps are expected to increase to mid 90's.

Have had rain the past 7 days. Nothing over a half inch though.
I wish I could get a real good thunder storm. These garden variety are boring.

We had a shower develop over us on Saturday (the 11th) and it rained for an hour and a good clip and the result was 2.10"

We had a shower earlier today and with that amount we are now over 7 inches for the month and we aren't quit at the half way mark for the month. So we are doing fine, but we still aren't in a typical summer time pattern by Florida standards, the rains this month have been produced on southwest winds instead of southeast.

The cloud to ground lightning the past 3 weeks seems to have really intensified here in central FL. I have seen many close strikes in the 6 years I have lived beachside, but this time I actually feel the charge in the air....my tv and outlets pop...it just seems that the charge is more intense in the strikes...weird. Have lots of pics and video but my cord stopped working and I cannot upload until I get the new one....bummer.

Just the opposite up here. Lots of rain but very little lightning.
Kinda weird.

Action around west central Florida this morning when four separate waterspouts were spotted off shore of Pinellas and southwestern Pasco Counties between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
