Great photos virgo10! You even captured some of the low hanging clouds that we had around here.

Hot today...very hot.

Heavy rain spiraling in overhead from the Atlantic Ocean at the moment.

Looking towards the west was pretty too.

This bow hung around for quite a while... a good 30 minutes.

Just had another brief downpour. So small it barely shows up on radar.

Another small clump of rain is to our east moving west.

It is just so nice out. I just came in and the temperature is currently 78 DRY degrees with a slight breeze that seems to be coming out of the north northeast.

After months of heat and humidity, this is like heaven.

I don't mind the heat and humidity. It means rain, which I don't think we are going to see much of.
Throw out Fay and this has been a dry year. Our dry season could be one for the record books.

Central Florida - The Bug - 10-15-2008 12:29 PM

it is beautiful today! I love it when the humidity starts to disappear!

This is what hot and dry looks like in central Florida. It was both today where I live.

Did a 350-mile loop west, south, and east from Orlando to Okeechobee today (waved at The Bug). Hit some clouds near Brooksville, but it cleared as we headed south. Warm today, but dry humiditywise, all in all very nice.

However after sunset, when we entered Oviedo from the east, the clouds shed a decent rain shower that coated the ground, all while the waning sunlight was still visible on the western horizon.
