Yeah, I woke up to the sound of thunder this morning, I knew there was an MCS working down our way last night, but I had no idea that it was going stay intact, these MCS are hard to forecast most times. I can't remember the last time I had to drive through the rain on the way to work.

Central Florida - The Bug - 05-09-2006 07:23 AM

me either...or on the way home for that matter...naturally there were three accidents on the way in and I had to turn around and take a detour up Dundee Road.

I'm just thankful to have the rain!

I'm getting hit with storms for the second time today, lucky me. Tonight's storm had lots of cloud to ground lightning & winds gusted close to 40 mph, I picked up a quick
1" of rain in less than 20 minutes.

Central Florida - The Bug - 05-11-2006 09:43 PM

where are you???

We got NOTHING here today. It skirted just to our north and then went DUE East...

sucks.

SW corner of Seminole County, near Apopka, 12 miles north of downtown Orlando.

Central Florida - The Bug - 05-12-2006 07:49 AM

awesome..I come that way all the time...I usually go to the Farmers Market. My aunt lives right downtown Orlando.

Hey guys. I only got .28 yesterday but I'll take it. Just south of me in Leesburg they had 2 inches. My grass actually has a hint of green down.
