We are getting some off and on rain today. Went to K-Mart and the entire building was boarded up...am I missing something here?
Anyway, people are missing work today to get supplies. Something they should have done before the season started. Anyway....I am off work today - Madison is sick. Blah. We are back home now from the doctors office and snuggling up - it is raining out side. I couldnt' ask for a better day.
The school board will be making an announcement at 3 p.m. today as to whether or not the schools will be open on Monday. I will find out and let anyone know (for anyoen who cares about Polk & Highlands Counties)

I called Highlands County School Board and they will not make a decision until Sunday evening and anyone in Highlands County that will need to know they urge you to listen to WWOJ on Sunday evening for cancellations and closings.
