Quote: The National Hurricane Center is watching an area of disturbed weather
in the eastern Gulf for potential tropical development. Regardless of
future development, the main threat to the region will be the potential

Heavy thunderstorms rolling through Mobile Al now rushing South. Guessing it's being pulled to the disturbance.

As an interesting aside, I have a lawsuit in Tampa where residents are claiming our stormwater pond is causing their yards to flood. We have a forensic meteorologist helping with hourly rainfalls for the past 14 years. Pretty cool stuff. This weekend is big given the amount of rain. Photos of yards and ponds as rain falls.
