All the models are trying to develop something off the Florida coast and send it up the coast. Some models are taking Matt and developing it, while others are generating there storm out of nowhere. The strong cold front coming down would be the only possible trigger for a storm like this if Matt doesn't get into that area, I will keep you updated; could be a good stormchasing event.
cool. remember to send it to Va.Beach. I will pay gladly.
Looks like it will be triggered by the 'remnants of matt', could get pretty strong as it accquires ULD from the strong trough coming down with artic air. The models should be picking this up in a couple days if everything plays out how I except.
anything fun in the forecast? I know it's too early for snow for us...... but I do have a sense of adventure and would like a fun storm to come visit.
Winter is on the way. We could see lows in the 30's in the mountains this weekened Smile
My prophecy has came ture, but greatly underestimated. Let's start with the first one; this is excepted to be 'Matt's remnants or the ULL entering the atlantic by Gerogia and strengthening due to the warm water, simliar to that of a tropical cyclone. This will most likely ride up the coast as a gale and bring rain, wind and the whole spiel. Now for round two; the GFS, GFDL have constitenly showed a immense trough deepening in the GOM and then shooting up a extermely strong storm, pressure of a CAT 2 hurricane and slighly lower wind speeds then a hurricane. This will cause great damage, and some serious snow in the moutains so watch out. Be prepared, this could be the 'storm of the century', I'm not joking.
